When iPad season opened, we sent our favorite iPhone app into the field to see if it would hunt. It didn’t, but it sure squealed, grunted and oinked up a storm. Meet Swine Flute HD. It’s bigger. It’s muddier. It’s the iPad size version of the musical Hawg that jiggles notes out when you cover the holes on his 3D back with your fingers. You can opt to accompany one of six built-in tunes that’ll get the holler hoppin’ like Swine Country or Moonshine Madness. When you decide to stretch out, you can solo to one of nine different beats that would make your granny weep like Mud Pit Groovin’ or Armpit Farts. Swine Flute iPad was co-developed with our good friends at Bazillion Pictures. Swiny HD: The hawg that everyone at the fair will want to spend some time with.
You can play along with one of six songs like:
You can also solo over your choice of beats which include:
How do I play Swiny?
Touch the holes on Swiny’s back with your fingers. Every time you touch a hole, a new sound comes out!
How do I select a song or beat?
When you can see Swiny, touch the gear underneath him with a finger. A new screen will pop up that has two lists. One list has six songs and the other has nine beats. Touch the song or beat that you want to play along with and it will start playing. Now touch the back button at the top and Swiny will come back and you can start playing the notes you want.
Does Swiny make other sounds?
es! Run your finger over his tail. Try rubbing and touching his head. Stroke that hog’s belly for toots of pure pork delight! You can make him squeal if you shake the whole phone.

Turn the volume up a little bit.
It doesn’t work.
